Each year their are 6000 workplace fatalaties, 6 million non-fatal workplace injuries. In 1970 their were 14,000 worker deaths. Due in part to programs like this, since 1971 fatalaties have decreased by more than half, injuries and illness have decreased by 40%. The cost to U.S. business is over 125 billion dollars.

At the end of the class 13 Outreach Trainers took the final examination and all passed.
