Mineola, NY - May 29, 2003 - The Greater New York Floor Coverers Industry Promotional Fund is pleased to announce this year's recipients of the Nineteenth Annual Francis J. P. McHale Scholarship Awards. The recipients are Michele L. Couret and Christine E. Klement. As in the past, this year's winners are deserving of this well earned success.

The recipients of the First through Fifteenth Year Scholarships have completed their courses of study with the help of the Francis J. P. McHale Scholarship program. The Industry Promotional Fund has currently eight participants in the scholarship program.

The 2003 Co-Honoree of the Francis JP McHale Scholarship Award is Harold E. Sherland. Mr. Sherland is being honored for his lifetime of devotion and service to the floor coverers industry. Mr. Sherland's family will be attending and accepting the award in his memory.


The luncheon to award the scholarships to this year's awardees will be held at The Water Club in New York City on Thursday, June 5, 2003.
