Jericho, NY - April 23, 2008 - The Greater New York Floor Coverers Industry Promotional Fund is pleased to announce this year's recipients of the Twenty-fourth Annual Francis J. P. McHale Scholarship Awards.

The recipients are Stephanie Maggio and Jason Santillo. This year's winners are, as in the past, deserving of this well earned success.

The recipients of the first through twentieth year scholarships have completed their courses of study with the help of the Francis J. P. McHale Scholarship program. The Industry Promotional Fund currently has eight participants in the scholarship program

The 2008 Co-Honoree of the Francis JP McHale Scholarship Award is Vito Luppino, Jr. who is being honored for his lifetime of devotion and service to the floor coverers industry. Mr. Luppino's family will be attendance to celebrate his achievements.

The Trustees also have designated two special scholarships to be presented for the 2008/09 school year with the recipients being Samantha Figueroa and Johnathan Ramirez.

The luncheon to award the scholarships to this year's awardees will be held at The Water Club on Thursday, June 5, 2008.
